Imagine a beautiful, glowing ball of golden light floating gently in front of you.

Whenever you feel lonely, frightened, misunderstood or disconnected from the world, close your eyes and imagine The Orb.

Picture it glowing in front of you, radiating warmth and light.

Remember that other people may be imagining exactly the same thing.

Perhaps one day millions, even billions, of people will share this simple ritual — a worldwide celebration of humanity in all its extraordinary forms.

There is no membership, no hierarchy, no religious requirement and no need to believe in anything supernatural.

The connection comes from knowing that others may share your hopes for humanity.

The Orb is an extension of Shug the Monk's International Circle Movement.

While physical circles provide places where people can gather peacefully, The Orb offers something that can be carried anywhere.

You don't need a special location, other people around you, or even the ability to leave your home.

The Orb is a circle without walls.

It belongs to everyone, regardless of nationality, wealth, religion, politics or background.

And like the Circle Movement itself, it asks very little of you.

Simply imagine the light, wish humanity well, and remember that you are part of something much bigger than yourself.
