Transition (2020–2027)
These works were created during a period of profound change. As my health, career and outlook evolved, painting became a way of making sense of the world around me. Looking back, this collection bridges my years as a cabinetmaker and the artist I was becoming, documenting both uncertainty and hope.
I will soon get round to adding text to each image - in the mean time there is a mixture of finished pieces and some renders.
I really wish more of these pieces were real - actually you can help with that. If you like something - I’ll make it for you!
That said, it is one of my long term goals to create any smaller items i have shown as depictions - so hopefully all going well. Anything you see in this section will eventually be a real object.
