122 (2026–2027) A New Chapter

This collection marks the beginning of a new direction in my work. Influenced by Vincent van Gogh's expressive brushwork, colour and humanity, these paintings move beyond observation towards emotion. While rooted in real places and people, each work is an interpretation rather than a record—a celebration of everyday life seen through a more personal lens.

Generally i spend alot of time studying places before painting them. I use my sketchbook and my camera to capture the subject then I paint mostly in my studio but can return to the location for further study if necessary.

A note on pricing

I deliberately try to keep my paintings relatively accessible. I'm interested in getting the work out into people's homes and lives, rather than simply achieving the highest possible price for each piece.

A typical framed original acrylic painting is around £350 — a price I deliberately keep modest so that owning an original piece of my work remains within reach of more people.

Much of the money I make from selling work goes back into my practice — materials, framing, exhibitions, experiments and developing the ideas and projects that surround the work.

So buying a painting doesn't just buy an object. It helps fund whatever I make next.

As the work develops, my prices may rise. But for now I'd rather have paintings out in the world than sitting in my studio with ambitious price tags attached to them.
