Public Appearances

I’ve spent much of my life making things, but I’ve also spent a surprising amount of it explaining ideas, teaching, presenting work and talking to people.

From technical presentations to architects and teaching furniture making, to schools, exhibitions and discussions about the ideas behind my work, I’m comfortable speaking to very different audiences.

Shug the Monk is the next chapter of that. I’m available for festivals, talks, panels, schools, prisons, exhibitions, community events, interviews — and invitations I probably haven’t thought of yet.

I don’t promise to have all the answers. I do promise to bring something worth talking about.
